Meet Our Staff

  • Kim



    Kim

    Kim has been working at the clinic since 2004 as our bookkeeper. She graduated from the Toronto School of Business with a diploma in Computerized Accounting. She lives in Port Perry with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time Kim likes to bake and spend time with her family.

  • Karen



    Karen

    Karen works part-time at the clinic as a receptionist and helps maintain our inventory. She lives on a private horse farm in Raglan with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she trains and competes her horses in dressage and the hunter/jumper ring.

  • Emily



    Emily

    Emily is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been working with us since the spring of 2016. She grew up in the Peterborough area before attending college. She graduated with honours in 2006 and moved to Vancouver after accepting a position with a referral and emergency practice. Emily returned back to Ontario in late 2007 to start a position as a large animal technician with the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC). After many years of work at the OVC, Emily and her husband started a family and decided to move back to the Peterborough area. During college and through her work experiences afterward, Emily has had many wonderful opportunities, coming to us with a lot of experience from working at small animal emergency and referral practices, other large animal clinics, Woodbine Racetrack, as well as with reptiles and exotics! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her pets!

    Meghan

    Meghan is a high school student who started working at PPVS in the summer of 2018 as a part-time receptionist. When Meghan isn't busy at school or working, she enjoys spending time with her family, horseback riding and participating in other sports.

  • Hillary



    Hillary

    Hillary is a high school student working at PPVS as a part-time receptionist. She joined the team in the summer of 2018. In her free time, Hillary enjoys helping at her family farm, competing in the eventing discipline and playing other sports.
