Routine dental exams and floating are of utmost importance to maintain your horse's health and optimize performance. It is recommended that your horse have a dental exam with floating annually. Our veterinarians can make corrections to your horse's teeth using hand floats or a Powerfloat, depending on what work is required. We can perform extractions of wolf teeth, deciduous teeth ("caps") and cheek teeth. In addition, we are capable of taking x-rays of the head to assist with the work up of certain dental diseases.
