Digital Radiography
PPVS has acquired a digital radiography unit. With this unit we can take and review the x-ray images at your farm! This technology can be used to image limbs in cases of lameness or for pre-purchase exams, as well as other sites such as the head, chests (in foals) and more. The x-ray images we take can be e-mailed to the horse's owner as well as referral centres and farriers to ensure a collaborative approach to treating certain cases.
